Ruth Wilson

Ruth Wilson has won two Olivier Awards along with a Golden Globe Award. She gave her Broadway debut with Nick Payne's Constellations alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. Her most well-known performance is Alison Lockhart, in Showtime's "The Affair" that she was awarded a Golden Globe Award. The Little Stranger is among her films that she's appeared in. The actress was also nominated for and Olivier Award for Best Actress for Hedda Gabler at the National Theatre. Wilson appeared in BBC's "Luther," nominated for eight Emmy Awards. In the BBC mini-series "Jane Eyre," she was nominated by Golden Globes and BAFTAs for the Best Leading Actress. In 2007 her London theatre debut was Maxim Gorky's Philistines.
