Emily Swallow
The career of Swallow began in Broadway theater where she appeared in several shows. These included High Fidelity and King Lear at the Guthrie Theater. Other plays are Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. And the off-Broadway premieres Romantic Poetry and Measuring for Pleasure. Swallow had her first film role in The Lucky Ones, a 2007 military thriller. She starred alongside Mark Rylance at the Guthrie Theatre in Louis Jenkins' play Nice Fish. She also starred being in Donald Margulies' play The Country House in Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. Swallow also appeared at Manhattan Theater Club in John Patrick Shanley's musical Romantic Poetry, which was an international premiere. Her performances of The Taming of the Shrew won an award called the Falstaff Award. Swallow created a show with fellow comedian Jac Huberman in 2012 called Jac N Swallow. They presented it in the city's Laurie Beeckman Theater as well as Joe's Pub. The show is in the process of developing a new series that is based on their characters. In 2016, she was a part of the production by Center Theatre Group of Ayad Akhtar's shamed. Swallow had her first television appearance in Guiding Light. Her other characters include Southland. The Good Wife. NCIS. Flight of the Conchords. Medium. as a regular on the series The Doctor. Michelle Robidaux in TNT's medical drama, Monday Mornings[2[2]. One of her roles was an important role in The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. [1][7] In 2015 she was a part of the 11th season of Supernatural as the new persona Amara, "the Darkness". Beginning in 2019 she took on the role of Armorer in Star Wars: The Mandalorian. This was her debut appearance as the traditionalist Mandalorians the head of the Mandalorians. The series has shown her face but she hasn't been able to show her face since the Mandalorians who are traditionalists don't wear their helmets. In Season 3 The character becomes greater in prominence as the plot focuses on Mandalorians and their customs, instead of only Mandalorians.
