tito ortiz-4Jacob Christopher "Tito" Ortiz was conceived in Huntington Beach on January 23rd 1975. Ortiz was just five years old at the time, was taken to Santa Ana in California, in which he was raised by three of his older half-brothers. He was nicknamed "Tito" by his father, when he was just a one-year-old. Tito experienced a rough childhood. His parents were addicted to heroin and he was soon involved with local bandits. Tito was able to survive on the bare minimum of support from his family through selling his fish and selling it at the local dock. Then, he began using several substances, including cocaine as well as PCP. As a young man He also attended the juvenile court. At the age of thirteen His parents separated and Tito began living with his mother in Huntington Beach. As a teenager Tito began to wrestle. He soon excelled in the sport, winning numerous championships and getting fourth place in a all-state tournament. Ortiz moved into the house with his brother upon finishing his final year of high school. Tito eventually became addicted to methamphetamines.
