Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan, better known as Sundar Picha is an Indian-American business executive. He is one of the chief executive officers (CEOs) of Alphabet Inc., its subsidiary Google, and was born in Madurai in India.[4Pichai earned his master's degree in metallurgical engineering at IIT Kharagpur. He was awarded an M.S. in the United States following his move to the United States. He graduated with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School of Pennsylvania. After a brief time at McKinsey and Co. as an executive consultant, Pichai was recruited by Google in 2004 to head the innovation and management of products for a variety of Google's client products. This comprised ChromeOS as well as ChromeOS. Additionally, he was the manager of Google Drive. He also led the creation of Google Maps and Gmail. Pichai declared in 2010 that Google had made the codec for video VP8 open source and had also launched WebM which is a brand new video format. 2012 saw the launch of Chromebook. Pichai also included Android to the Google products he was managing in 2013.
