Alice Glass

 Margaret Osborn (born 23 August 1988) who is professionally known as Alice Glass, is a Canadian musician and singer. She is the co-founder and former frontwoman of the electronic group Crystal Castles. In 2014 she began a solo career.She released her eponymous debut EP in the year 2017. Prey//IV is her solo debut album. She was born Margaret Osborn 25 August 1988 in Toronto. Her family was Catholic and attended a parochial school until she was in junior high. Her family fled the area at the age of 15 to join an underground punk band called Fetus Fatale, and lived in a squat-like community with punks. Ethan Kath and she began working together on the project that would be Crystal Castles. In December 2003, Alice Glass fled her home and sought refuge in a squat community of punks under the name Vicki Vale (after the comic book character). Then she formed an all-girl punk group called Fetus Fatale. Their first release was "Alice Practice" which was their single in 2006. The song earned them their first contract with Merok Records in London. Crystal Castles also performed their first live show in Toronto at the Clinton's Tavern that year. The band's debut album, "Alice Practice", eventually featured the song.
