Alice Amter

 Alice Amter, born 11 May 1966 is an English actress. She is well-known for her character as Mrs. Koothrappali in The Big Bang Theory. While in Leamington Spa, she spent time in a children's facility located in Warwick New Road. Later, her single mother was an elderly German woman who cared for Amter. Amter was educated at Milverton Junior and Infant School and earned an Bachelor of Arts degree in modern languages and international relationships from the University of Wolverhampton. She also has resided in France, Germany and Japan, where she taught English in the early 1990s. In the beginning of 1990 she moved to Los Angeles. Despite her best-known role as "Mrs. Koothrappali", she has said she has no Indian ancestral lineage.
