Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
rose to fame as a actor on "Saturday Night Live," before appearing in
such big-screen comedies as 'Elf,' 'Anchorman and 'Talladega Nights.' Will
Ferrell was a Los California-based comedian, who was born in Irvine in 1967.
After his seven-year stint as a Saturday Night Live cast member, Ferrell was
one of the most well-known comedic actors in the industry by releasing
off-color films such as Old School (2003) or Anchorman: The Legend of Ron
Burgundy (2004). Ferrell was the co-founder of the well-known video streaming
platform Funny or Die. He has also been a successful voice actor for animated
films like Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine,
California on July 16th, 1967. Will Ferrell is the oldest child of Righteous
Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell (and Kay Ferrell), however, he was not exactly
the class clown while he was in University High School. He was calm and stoic
however, he decided to play football, setting a school record for the highest
number of field goals scored. Even in the more comfortable confines of his
suburban home, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, humorous outbursts
that would later help define his career.
